We all know Oscar night is really about the dresses, does anyone actually stay up to watch the whole awards presentation? There were some absolute stunners last night, here were my top three picks:

Perhaps I've been watching too much "Say Yes to the Dress," but Jennifer Lawrence looked perfect. I love the sheer panel across the front; the delicate neckline showed off her collarbone, yet no cleavage, very classy. 

I'm so glad she never took Regina George's advice about wearing halter tops, because this former Mean Girl shows off her shoulders in this gorgeous dress. Amanda Seyfried keeps accessories to the minimum, letting the gorgeous gold beading speak for itself.

Halle Berry might be the only Oscar attendee who could pull off this dress. Enough said.

When life get's busy and overwhelming, I find that little things can bring perspective and balance. Like heart-shaped marshmallows and a library book. And going to bed early so that I can be well-rested for my first blog photo shoot tomorrow. Pictures to come, promise!

Is it cold where you live too? The temperatures have been averaging in the twenties here so I'm definitely piling on the layers. I love wearing cozy gloves and a slouchy hat when I know I'll be outside for a while. I can picture a few stripes peeking out from under the leather jacket which keeps this outfit fashionable while staying warm!
